Had a barbecue last night & have TONS of cooked food left over. How should I store it?

We have lots of potato salad, burger patties, barbecue chicken, and hot dogs. There’s no way we’re going to finish all this off. Will it reheat well if we freeze it? How do you recommend storing these items?

    don’t keep the potato salad.
the patties and chicken should do fine if frozen again, but i wouldn’t recommend the hot dogs since they’ve already been warmed once, (i’m assuming).

just find a big place in your refrigerator and store all your food not in the freezer

Girl you can send it to me.(jk) lol. You can freeze everything put the potato salad & hot dogs. All i can say is eat as much potato salad & hot dogs you can today, then throw the rest away,or if you know of any homeless people in the area give it to them thats what my stepfather did. I Hope I Help. Oh and yes the chicken & patties will reheat well.

Yes, you can freeze the hot dogs–they are cooked. Later you can put them in baked beans or bean soup.

The burger patties can be crumbled and cooked now and can be put in zip bags, frozen and used later for chili, sloppy joes or spaghetti sauce.

Take the bar b que chicken off of the bone, put it in zip bags with some bbq sauce so that you can have bbq on a bun at a later date.

Eat the potato salad and get rid of what is left.
