How can I get a grilled flavor to meats without grilling it?

Looking for that smoky taste and smell. Not an outdoor grilling fan, with the mosquitos, flies etc. Any suggestions

There are seasonings, rubs, and mesquite barbecue flavored marinades you can use. Also, a George Foreman grill is cost effective and works wonders for giving the meat a crispy, grilled texture, and takes the unhealthy fat and grease out of it at the same time!

I’m coming over for your next cook-out! (in?)

colgins liquid smoke or other quality products seer meat all sides put your product in a pan that you can cover w/ plastic wrap and foil last add a layer of LS but don’t cover it will steam also marinade it over night turing 3-4 hrs. for beef , 3hrs for chik& pork 1hr. for seafood cook at proper temp, time etc. take out and broil to get a crust or leave it like that ( my fav. way)

Given your restrictions / constraints I would suggest an electric grill - essentially the same idea as a charcoal grill (you know: heat [HOT!] below, grate above, food on grate…). However, you better have one really good exhaust fan to get rid of the smoke / smell.
Look at a Jenn-Air stove: They’ve been doing it for years and, perhaps you can find a similarly functioning product.

    Smoke flavoring.

I highly suggest you actually grill it though, there is no substitute for real BBQ.
