Need A Balcony Grill That Fits Your Small Space?

By Art | July 13, 2008

high riseThe other day, I was visiting some friends who live in a small, high-rise apartment in the city. Mike and Lisa are young, and they haven’t started a family yet, so the city apartment, located on the 12th floor of a newer building in a trendy neighborhood, is ideally suited to their active lifestyle.

Unfortunately, I saw right away what the downside of this arrangement would be. Mike and Lisa have no way of grilling out. Their small bacony just doesn’t afford them the luxury of a regular charcoal or gas grill, and a smoker is definitely out of the question.

It’s a good thing I had just come from a fishing trip in New Hampshire, where I discovered the ideal solution to Mike and Lisa’s grilling dilemma… the Cobb Portable Grill makes the perfect balcony grill. It’s small size and ease of cleaning make for a cooking system that seems almost custom designed for city living in smaller quarters, where access to the outside is limited.

Mike and Lisa need a balcony grill that not only takes up less space, but also uses less charcoal. Of course, the Cobb shines there, too. Burning for up to three hours on only 8-10 charcoal briquettes, owning the Cobb means they won’t need to stockpile huge bags of charcoal in their compact apartment’s limited storage space.

I could go on, but all-in-all I think you get the idea. If a balcony grill is what you need, take the step Mike and Lisa are going to take - get a Cobb Premium Portable Grill.
